Mid Century Helmut Lübke Chair 1960s Modernist Seat

Mid Century round chair created by the German company, Lübke, designed to be seen from every direction. It has beautiful lines everywhere you look. Manufactured in the 1960s, this chair really is a design icon, complete with original metal Lübke label on the underside of the chair.

The chair unfortunately was painted by a previous owner in a chalky white paint, which was certainly not an original feature of this particular chair. We have very painfully removed the white paint by hand and re lacquered the chair. Most of the white paint is now gone, tiny tiny remnants can be seen on the underside in the joins.

The chair is very comfortable, despite perhaps not looking so, a design classic.
