Vintage Tea Chest Trunk Box Crate Side Table

The Vintage Tea Chests make perfect side tables for lamps and also make great bedside tables.

These vintage tea chests would have originally transported tea across the high seas!

This listing is for a tea chest that reads " It pays to buy good tea" a rare chest. The chest in the images is the exact one you will receive.

The chest has a fairly flat top,( or base, depending on how you wish to use it) but does have some variation across it.

There are splits to the wood on some sides, but these are just through one layer of the plywood, so they are still perfectly usable.

Each tea chest has been lightly restored, fully waxed and buffed to a shine, ready for use in your home. The insides of each chest has been left in fairly original as found condition, Some have the original silver foil too and sometimes remnants of tea!

*Please note: The Tea Chests are used and have a complete hole in a panel - This chest has a hole cut in the base as pictured, So it is perfect for use as storage too, so the lettering would be the correct way up for a storage chest. They are good to store logs, dried flowers, even cats!

The hole is approximately 400x490mm
